About Me

Hello and welcome to Basically Becca Sue! On this blog you can find college tips, favorite recipes, and all things relating to my lifestyle.

My name is Becca! I currently reside in sunny SoCal where I am taking on life’s adventures and finding myself along the way. After graduating high school in 2015 I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my life. I planned to go to college in Nashville in the fall and study Music Business and eventually become an artist manager.

Obviously things didn’t go as planned…

I now have dreams of sharing my adventures and struggles with young adults in hopes of helping others overcome everything life throws at them.

My Story

After my first semester of college I realized that I wasn’t doing what I wanted to be doing but I had no idea what I did wanted to do with my life. Throughout my freshman year I was very unhappy and lost. I loved the city I was in but I was struggling with many aspects of my life including friends, faith and direction.

Fast forward a year and half and I am back at home in California, attending a community college while I figure out what I want to do. This is not at all what I had meticulously planned for my life but it has taught me to role with the punches.

I always thought of myself as someone who would finish college and jump right into a 9-5 job. After the last six months though, I am finding there are so many other opportunities out there and I plan to explore them!

I have always loved writing and this blog serves as a way for me to work through everything going on in my life. I hope that what I share helps young adults handle similar situations. Hopefully we can connect and find comfort in knowing we are not alone. Being a young adult is a hard time in life and it’s nice to know there’s others out there that feel like they don’t have it all together either. So welcome to the community!

Feel free to reach out to me on any outlets found here! I’d love to get to know you.
